I was born in Sopron, a small town in western Hungary close to the Austrian border. As a kid, I wanted to be a musician, and successfully became a singer-song writer in my early teens, eventually building up a prestigious career in the music industry. Parallel to my professional life as a recording artist, I started to take photos of my friends and my hobby soon became a passion and a calling.
To pursue my photography dreams I attended Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, and graduated with a degree in photography in 2012. In 2015 I moved to New York City where I currently live and create.
I see myself as a documentarian and portrait photographer. My work is informed by the nuances of the human character and the imperfections of day-to-day reality, human existence.
My work has been published in WSJ, 10 Magazine, Unemployed Magazine; commercial clients include Ray-Ban, Tory Burch, Theory, Hay, Nike, Everlane and Re/Done.
