Born in Hungary, Krisztián started his creative life as a singer-songwriter. After working for six years as a successful recording artist, he decided to focus on and pursue a career in photography, a passion of his for many years, and stimulate his artistic vocabulary.
In 2012, he received his degree in Photography at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest.
As a fashion and portrait photographer, Krisztián works with actors, models, musicians and also contributes to many magazines, such as WSJ, CR Fashion Book and Monrowe. In addition to this work, music is still an important component of his creative work and enables him to further direct music and fashion videos.
Krisztián's pictures are shot with passion, filled with an array of emotions -- flirtation, bashfulness, sensitivity, and sadness -- all while ensuring a complete respect for the feminine form.
There is a sense of vibration and intimacy in his photographs. They are natural yet refined, and convey a strong underlying emotion of longing and loneliness while still catching the very moment. His Eastern European roots bring a raw, bitter-sweet sensitivity to his photographic style but also helped him to create a unique and personal photographic language.
In 2012, he had his first solo exhibition, entitled "Mainstream", and in 2014, he received the "Best Fashion Photographer of the Year" award in Hungary. In 2015, he organized his second solo exhibition, "Revolution".
Krisztián is currently based in New York city.
